Join us for an amazing 5-star 100k (62-mile) cycling experience! We have implemented a new in-person event structure in compliance with California’s and Sonoma County’s 300-person, vaccinated or negative test requirement, for outdoor events. Our new 100K route starts and ends at Rosewood in Petaluma, California. Enjoy breathtaking views of Tomales Bay, Point Reyes National Seashore and the beautiful Petaluma countryside.
The ride finishes with a luncheon featuring gourmet food, fine wines and entertainment.
For those who cannot participate in-person, the DIY event challenge is open to all and has no minimum fundraising commitment! We encourage you to get creative with your DIY Challenge! Hike, bike, swim, climb, do yoga, or try something new! We also offer curated cycling routes across California, Best Buddies Challenge Strava segments and virtual rides on Zwift.

Funds raised through the Best Buddies Challenge benefit Best Buddies International, the world’s largest organization dedicated to ending the social, physical and economic isolation of the 200 million people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Our programs empower the special abilities of people with IDD by helping them form meaningful friendships with their peers, secure successful jobs, live independently, improve public speaking, self-advocacy and communication skills, and feel valued by society.
The IDD community that Best Buddies serves includes, but is not limited to, people with Down syndrome, autism, Fragile X syndrome, Williams syndrome, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury and other undiagnosed disabilities.
