Leanda Cave began competing in triathlons in 1993 when she was 14 years old. In 2001, Leanda became the European Under-23 Olympic distance champion. A year later, she won the Silver Medal at the triathlon event in the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester; the Silver Medal at the European Championships; and her first World Title in Cancun. Off the back of her success in 2002, Leanda was honored with a nomination for the BBC and Welsh Sports Personality of the Year Award. In 2007 she won her second world title at the ITU Long Distance World Championships in France. Leanda’s ultimate success came in 2012 when she secured her 3rd and 4th world titles at the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Las Vegas and the Ironman World Championships in Kona – becoming the first female triathlete in history to accomplish both feats in a single year, and CNN recognized her as being one of the 10 Fittest Women in the World: “World’s Fittest Women”.
Mari Holden is a decorated cycling icon. Mari earned the recognition of being one of the best cyclists in the world by becoming World Champion; 6x USA National Cycling Champion; and capturing a Silver medal at the 2000 Olympic Games in Australia. These days, Mari uses her professional and personal experience to create an environment for others to achieve their goals. She has a passion for sharing her lifetime of experience with women who want to learn more about the sport and become safer and more confident cyclists.
