There’s nothing like a Best Buddies Challenge. Find out for yourself. Sign up as an individual or form a team with friends and together we will help Best Buddies enhance the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

RIDE

Join us on Thursday, July 2, 2026, and choose to ride 74, or 40 miles with cyclists of all abilities including celebrities, pro-cyclists, and others. The Independence Pass Double is an iconic route from Aspen to Twin Lakes and back. Expect ambitious climbs, gorgeous descents, and plenty of scenery along the way. All routes are fully supported, with rest stops along the route and support vehicles on the road.

CELEBRATE

After your event, grab a massage and enjoy a finish line celebration including a gourmet luncheon, open bar, and private concert. 

The festivities conclude at the Annual Best Buddies Aspen Gala. Each year, prominent local and international guests — including business leaders, political dignitaries, sports figures and celebrities — celebrate Best Buddies’ mission. Riders and their guest will enjoy on a gourmet dinner, partake in a top-notch auction and witness dazzling entertainment!
