Ipswich Fall Ride with Tim Johnson

Led by former New England cyclo-cross legend Tim Johnson, this ride will be a fall beach tour from the farms of Essex County to the beaches of Ipswich. Despite his racing pedigree, Tim also keeps rides fun and welcoming. We’ll roll down from Topsfield towards the ocean with a stop at the Victorian wonder that is Crane Castle. After a tailgate picnic, we’ll roll through Crane’s Beach for some photos before pedaling back up the gentle hills to Topsfield. This will be a hilly, three-hour ride manageable for any novice rider. And the Domestiques will be out to support both the pedal pushers and easy riders. There will be a long and short option. Our friends at Munroe Velo will welcome us with coffee and pastries; libations and snacks to follow.
