Your Fundraising Commitment:
The primary goal of Best Buddies Challenge events is to raise operating and expansion funds for Best Buddies International. Best Buddies is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). For more information on Best Buddies International, visit www.bestbuddies.org.
Funds raised at the Best Buddies Challenge are critical to help grow and sustain our eight formal programs – Best Buddies Middle Schools, High Schools, Colleges, Citizens, e-Buddies, Jobs, Ambassadors, and Promoters – that positively impact the lives of 1.2 million individuals with and without disabilities worldwide.
Best Buddies does our best to aid participants in their fundraising efforts. We provide each participant with a dedicated Best Buddies team member who is available to answer questions and provide a variety of fundraising ideas. Please feel free to call 1.800.718.3536 to speak to a Development Associate about how to maximize your fundraising. Please note: registration fees are non-refundable.
Fundraising Commitment Deadline (FCD)
We envision our limited-capacity in-person Challenge to have the standard minimum fundraising commitment to guarantee fundraising as we have in the past. Currently, we’re opening registration without that requirement until we’re ready to officially launch the in-person Best Buddies Challenge: Hyannis Port.
We’re encouraging our Best Buddies Challenge community to register early for the 2021 Best Buddies Challenge: Hyannis Port. We are currently offering one Standard Event rate until we have approval from local and state agencies to pursue an in-person event. All participants will register at our Standard Rate and then can choose, when the time comes, to participate in our in-person event or our DIY Challenge. Please note: registration fees are non-refundable.
