Team Smart and Horford members will receive exclusive benefits and access to Marcus Smart and Al Horford over the course of several events held in conjunction with the Best Buddies Challenge: Hyannis Port.
There’s nothing like a Best Buddies Challenge.
Join us on Saturday, June 3, 2023, and choose to ride 100, 55, or 20 miles with cyclists of all abilities including celebrities, pro-athletes, and others. Each route takes riders along scenic, country roads to the beach in Hyannis Port. All rides are fully supported, with rest stops every 25 miles and support vehicles on the road. For those that don’t ride, our 5K run/walk takes place at Craigville Beach in Hyannis Port. Enjoy a jog with friends, or go for a new personal best. The walk is the perfect Challenge for families with small children.
After your ride, walk or run, celebrate with a delicious lobster clambake, a beachside massage, and a private concert with an artist like Flo Rida.
In addition to the Best Buddies Challenge main event on June 3rd, members of Team Smart & Horford will join Marcus Smart and Al Horford for a private party in September where team members will get an individual photo with Marcus and Al. The date, time, & venue will be shared privately with team members.
Best of all, your participation will support Best Buddies – a nonprofit dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities!

Funds raised through the Best Buddies Challenge benefits Best Buddies International – the world’s largest nonprofit organization dedicated to ending the social, physical and economic isolation of the 200 million people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Our programs help people with IDD form meaningful friendships with their peers, secure successful jobs, live independently, improve public speaking, self-advocacy and communication skills, and feel valued by society.
The IDD community that Best Buddies serves includes, but is not limited to, people with Down Syndrome, Autism, Fragile X, Williams Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, traumatic brain injury and other undiagnosed disabilities.
