The Best Buddies Gravel: Miami is designed as the perfect complement to the Miami Challenge weekend. It is suitable for riders of all abilities, including those participating in Saturday’s Miami Challenge. Whether you’re new to gravel riding or an experienced cyclist looking for a different adventure, the event offers a fun, scenic, and memorable way to extend your Challenge weekend.

Unlike Saturday’s road ride, Sunday’s Gravel Ride takes participants off the pavement and into the unique landscape of South Florida’s Redlands. Riders will experience quiet gravel roads, working farms, water crossings, and breathtaking views where agriculture meets the edge of the Everglades. The terrain offers a completely different cycling experience while remaining fully supported and welcoming to all skill levels.

Choose to ride 54, 28 or 16-miles

All routes begin and end at DiMare Farm, with multiple loop options that allow riders to choose the distance that best fits their comfort level while staying connected to the overall event experience. Choose from 54, 28, or 16-miles through the beautiful South Florida landscapes of the Redlands! Riders can expect a relaxed atmosphere, beautiful scenery, and a memorable adventure that showcases a side of South Florida many have never experienced.

Fundraising Levels

Participants change the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities by fundraising for Best Buddies International. We encourage all participants to set their fundraising goals high and raise what they can for Best Buddies’ mission of inclusion. It’s a challenge, but personalized fundraising webpages, resources, and our Best Buddies Challenge team provide the support participants need to not only meet but exceed their fundraising goals.

$250 Registration Fee

The fundraising commitment is $2,500.

One (1) rider entry to the Best Buddies Gravel: Miami
Options for 16, 28, or 54-mile supported loop rides through gravel roads, water crossings, and beautiful South Florida landscapes of the Redlands, where farmland meets the edge of the Everglades.
One (1) invite to Friday shakeout ride
One (1) invite to Friday evening “Meet the Pros” cocktail party at the Four Seasons Hotel Miami

One (1) rider entry to the Best Buddies Challenge: Miami
Two (2) presidential-style rolling enclosure training rides
Access to weekly year-round training rides
Full custom cycling kit including jersey, bib, vest, and t-shirt
Finish line amenities: premium gift bag, showers, professional massage, and luncheon
Two (2) night hotel stay (Friday & Saturday night) at the Four Seasons Miami
Plus one (1) admission for you and a guest to the Best Buddies Miami Gala

One (1) Standard Best Buddies Challenge: Miami entry and one (1) Best Buddies Gravel: Miami entry plus the following concierge benefits:

At-home bicycle servicing for minor repairs including flat tires, gear adjustments, or brake adjustments by Mack Cycle
At-home pick-up and drop-off of your bicycle to Mack Cycle & Fitness for advanced service, tune-ups, and cleanings
First three (3) tune-ups with washes are included
One (1) chain and cassette replacement with same or similar brands
One (1) electronic shifting upgrade to Shimano Di2 software
Two (2) handlebar tape replacements with same or similar brands
Priority placement at Mack Cycle & Fitness service department for expedited repairs
One (1) professional bicycle fitting with complete assessment by certified Guru Fit specialists at Mack Cycle & Fitness
