Once registered, you’ll gain access to your personal fundraising page that you can personalize and keep track of your fundraising efforts. As the event nears, our team will reach out to collect additional information such as your jersey size and other event details.

Choose your Best Buddies Breakaway: Palo Alto Hike or Bike experience starting at $8,000, with the All‑In Package available at $25,000. Once you register, you’ll unlock your personal fundraising webpage to help you reach your goal—whether you’re going for the entry-level experience or aiming for the all‑in adventure. Easily customize your page with your story and photos, then rally supporters through social media, emails, events, or checks. We provide templates, posters, guides, and a dedicated Coach to help you reach (or exceed!) your fundraising level—whether you’re new to fundraising or a seasoned pro. Every dollar you raise fuels life‑changing friendships and independence for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
To maintain the focus, intensity and goals for the Breakaway Camp, it is intended for registered cyclists and hikers only. We appreciate your understanding that guests are not permitted.
Hotel accommodations/rooms, meals, presentations, and Camp amenities (spa, compression therapy, yoga, etc.) are for registered cyclists and hikers only. This policy ensures that we can adequately accommodate all participants and make Camp financially successful for Best Buddies, which is our ultimate goal.
Best Buddies seeks to build a Camp experience that connects, inspires and energizes our Campers. Your adherence to this policy allows us to provide a five-star experience for all participants.
